MeiLin Wan, Founder and CEO of GenuTrace is a trailblazer in traceability and sustainability. With over two decades of experience in textile and personal care traceability, MeiLin has pioneered the use of DNA tagging, isotope testing, and other forensic tools to verify the origin of materials for major retailers like Costco, Walmart, and Sainsbury’s.

This week, MeiLin joins Bex to share her insight into what traceability truly means to businesses and their customers, and what the future of sustainability for consumer goods brands looks like as the use of AI ramps up customer knowledge on who made their products, where and how.

Join us to learn more about how traceability works in practice for businesses navigating international legislation, green claims and voluntary standards; as well as how businesses are adapting to increasing demand from customers for transparency and product data. MeiLin also shares her predictions for traceability and sustainability, including where AI fits into the picture.

This episode is tailored for sustainability, compliance or supply chain professionals or those who would like to work in the field. However, all listeners are very welcome.
